Our story
AKS Hot and Sweet is born from a love of home-made cuisine and a desire to share it with the community. We are dedicated to providing exceptional food services, using only the best ingredients and using personal recipes to keep costs low and affordable.
Located in Marfell, New Plymouth, I am a qualified chef & patisserie chef looking to share my love for food among the community!
Passionate about food since I was a child, my dream is to one day create a food manufacturing business consisting of spice bags & sauces. And then one day travel NZ to help feed our hungry families & homeless in need!
Our history
From humble beginnings, AKS Hot and Sweet was created because of my love and passion for food. Wanting to help other woman to gain a future in the hospitality industry and have a stable income - all whilst being able to take care of their children full-time, my goal is to one day expand and become a regular New Zealand made spice & sauce brand that you will see in every supermarket retail stores.
SPICE BAGS
DOUGH BAG - 250g $3
Add warm water or warm milk to activate yeast & let rise in a covered bowl. Roll out on a flat surface for a pizza dough or fried bread.
SEAFOOD CHOWDER BAG 15g - $3
Just add cream or milk to your preferred consistency.
SEAFOOD BOIL BAG - 15g - $3
Add butter, water and a squeeze of lemon 🍋
CREAMY CHICKEN BAG - 15g $3
Add cream or milk to your preffered consistency. Best enjoyed with pasta adding chicken and bacon. Slowly add your boiled pasta water to make your sauce a little thicker naturally.
CURRY CHICKEN MIX - 15g $3
Comes spicy or mild.
Best enjoyed with coconut cream or milk, but normal cream and milk will also suffice. Drizzle a little yogurt while plating for a bit of a extra taste bud hit.
HERB CHICKEN BAG - 15g $3
Marinate your chicken for atleast 1 hour in this delicious mix of herbs and spices.
NACHO MINCE BAG - 15g $3
Mix with canned tomatoes to your preffered saucy consistency.
BEEF MINCE MIX- 15g $3
Nice beefy mix, great to add to any mince dishes with cheesy elements.
SHEPPARDS PIE MIX - 15g $3
Rich and meaty mix of herbs and spices, adding canned tomatos to make the ultimate family favorite.
SPICE BAG - 15g $3
Great addition to any of the above dishes if you like a bit of zing. Add to your own desire.
